This report is the final of three evaluation reports developed as part of an evaluation of the County Koori Court pilot program undertaken from 2009 to 2011. It analyses both qualitative and quantitative data collected from interviews, case study analyses and observations of court hearings as well as statistics related to re-offending figures, breach rates and sentencing. The report recommends that the County Koori Court be retained by the Department of Justice and County Court. In order to ensure the project meets its stated aims, continued monitoring/evaluation, with particular attention to accurately measuring recidivism, is also recommended.
