This strategy sets out the Queensland Government’s whole of government approach to reducing domestic and family violence over the period 2009-2014. This focused on five areas of reform: prevention; early identification and intervention; connected victim support services; perpetrator accountability; and system planning and coordination. Among the state?s goals included: Establishment of a Death Review Panel; Test a new integrated approach to family violence prevention in Rockhampton; and Establish a program whereby perpetrators are removed from the family home while the family remains
