This article summarises the report ‘This is Forever Business: A Framework for Maintaining and Restoring Cultural Safety in Aboriginal Victoria’. The article scopes the issue of cultural safety and considers legislative and policy frameworks in Victoria and which could be implemented to engenders culturally safe practice. The authors argue that for programs and policies to be genuinely inclusive of Aboriginal people they must be culturally safe.
