The strategy sets out a model of care that will guide the implementation of specific actions by local health districts, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services, and other non-government service providers. It builds on the success of Aboriginal Family Health Workers and the education Centre Against Violence, incorporates evidence based best practice, and will build research and evaluation into program activity.
