This document consists of ten information sheets (each with separate title) published electronically and bound together. The information sheets describe the Ten Year Partnership, which is a Queensland Government proposal to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to improve standards of living over the next ten years, and set out goals and initiatives in eight key areas: justice; family violence; reconciliation; human services; service delivery; economic development; community governance; and land heritage and natural resources. The Justice Information Sheet covers the development of a Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Justice Agreement and discusses the case study of Community Justice Groups, while the Family Violence Information Sheet outlines the next step in responding to the Report of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women’s Task Force on Violence and discusses the case study of the Wadja Warriors, Woorabinda’s football team in the Gladstone reserve grade. The Warriors have achieved success in family violence prevention by telling players that they would be dropped from the team if they committed any acts of violence against women.
